Is it normal for green tree frogs (hyla cinerea) to burrow themselves in the substrate? I have coconut fiber loose substrate down and I couldn't find one of my frogs. I moved things around looking for him. Finally I saw a little part of a nose and two eyeballs....Thomas J had completely buried himself in the coconut fiber!! is this normal for a tree frog? I just worry about everything now after the death of Tyler. Thomas J and Vada are now sleeping on the side of the glass wall .
They usually do this when the humidity is too low.
