I have always used rain water on mine but mine were not captive bred if that makes a difference. Mine are also Grey Tee Frogs not pacman.

I figured that was the water it lived in and was used to.

I just put a bucket out when it rains or snows lol and fill up my water bottles and mister with that and store the rest till next rain. no boiling or anything.

But I have no idea if that is recommended.

And if mine were store bought and not from this area I dont think I would use rain water.
