    Default New baby white's

I wanted to introduce everyone to Scooter, our CB baby white's tree frog. I didn't mean to buy him/her but he saw me in the store and jumped at me, so I snatched him up! He's supposedly a "blue phase" but don't know if there is really such a thing. He's so small I put him in a 5 gallon high tank until he's big enough for the 10 gallon.

So cute and so tiny. He does look more bluish than your others.

Congrats on the new addition! I can't believe how tiny he is, especially compared to Dumper and Jade. It's going to be very neat to watch him grow!

Yup! Just like a baby... he pooped six times in 2 days. Time to change his paper towels (again).

The one I recently bought is a "blue phase" one as well.
    Cute little guy.
I wonder who breeds most of the captive bred White's in the states.

He looks green to me but yes, different. There seems to be a bluish glow under his skin. I've read that blue phase white's don't show their true colors until they are older. I hope he becomes blue because then I'll have a range of colors. Jade: green, Dumper: teal and Scooter: blue.

I am very interested in the answer to this question, if anyone knows....
I would like to get a WTF or two in the near future, but would rather support an honest breeder than visit my local "Petstupid" place. Does anyone have any good breeder referrals?
