My new Red eyed tree frog is a light brown color, he was light green yesterday. I think he might be stressd out. I went to a pet shop and bought a 75w infered heat lamp just incase he was too cold. Btw I have had him for 3 days, and he hasn't eaten at all I have small dusted crickets that I tried feeding it, but no luck. I hope he is still getting used to his new habitat! :/. Any tips?
make sure the heat lamp isnt too close so he wont burn himself cuz it might be too high a wattage
but my male RETF did the same thing when I brought him home
he didnt eat for 2 weeks
so dont worry about it, make sure hes in a quiet place and keep crickets in there
and when he gets hungry he will eat

Unless you are living in the artic I can't imagine how your frog could be cold with the heat wave that we are having across the country. Do you have a temp and humidity gauge? What is the reading? Heat lamps can dry out the tank too much especially during the summer. Red Eyes don't need basking spots.
