I lost my job a year ago, and if I weren't married I would definitely be screwed. What I would recommend doing is seeing if a few trusted family members or friends would be willing to foster your frogs until you get back on your feet. Dividing them up between them would keep the costs low for your family/friends, and you wouldn't have to worry about selling them off to some crazy person (i.e. the person who seems to think beloved pets are "just frogs").

I'm sorry that you are in this situation. I like the idea artes suggested. See if someone who understands that these are beloved pets, rather than "just frogs" is willing to foster them for a while.

I'm having to give up my two blood pythons, next week. I've had them for 3 years but my wife doesn't like like them a bit. Luckily my brother is able to keep them. Like artes mentioned a foster is always a good idea if they can be trusted and don't mind. This way you can still be in contact with them and be able to help with any problems that may occur.

Im going to try and see if a family member can watch them for me. I didnt even think about that to be honest its a really good idea. Hopefully i can get another job asap so i dont have to rehome them.
