Hi all, I am a new tree frog owner and I am looking for some adviceI got my frog from my sister who moved and transported all of her frogs, lizards and other creatures by car. The trip took a couple of days but all the animals were well cared for along the way. When I got him I left him in his original tank for a few days with some crickets that were in there since the trip. But I couldn't really tell if he ate anything for the first few days becuase I didn't know how many crickets were in the tank. He seems fine and actively jumps around when we took him out. Last Sunday we changed him to a bigger tank and instantly he was exploring his new tank and sticking his butt in the water dish (Is this a good thing?) but he still doesn't seem to be eating. I went to a pet store here and they gave me some worms to try and I pretty much put them right in front of his nose and he wasn't interested at all. I have noticed however that he has lightened up in color from a darker olive green to more of a brighter green color. Could he just be stressed from the move and new tank etc?
I am not even sure what kind of a tree frog he is so I have included some pics to see if anyone else knows what he is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
