I know nothing of firebellies but there are people on here that can give you wonderful advice.

I have 2 FBTs and they do better in groups than single! But mine are BFFs! They are both females though. I have heard of FBT males being aggressive, but rarely! If you had 2 males and one female, or all males, one may have been more dominate and could've eaten another. But I doubt it! The first week I had my FBTs one hid under the moss nearly the whole time and I could NEVER find her and I thought maybe the other had eaten her. But she didn't, so just keep a look out and good luck! OH! and WELCOME!
