Yeah, the eye caps are most important because you'll end up building layers and it's like super glue.

Actually if you're desperate and you want to remove the caps, you can use adhesive tape (sticky tape). Get a strip, put it on the eye of the snake (assuming there is some skin-clear area all around the eye) and use the tape to gently free the skin on the eye.

Roger that! Will do. I am going to wait a few days before I get that desperate. The snake is not listless and shows interest in food. After some research, I went ahead and raised the enclosure to 100% humidity @85ºF. I will wait until the weekend before I get truly nervous.
Watching FrogTV because it is better when someone else has to maintain the enclosure!
