My daughter really dropped the ball with her Reverse Okeetee Cornsnake this month.
Turns out she broke her Basking lamp and did not bother to tell anyone. She also did not maintain the enclosure humidity.

The poor critter has retained a complete shed. He will not, of course, eat.

I have since replaced the unreliable metal halide lamp with a combination of a UV fluorescent and an infrared heater. I have raised the enclosure humidity to 70%, but still no luck.

I have now resorted to warm water soaking. Is this the proper treatment or is this only suitable for tropical snakes?
