I have seen people using tapatalk on here, I have never used tapatalk but I want to. How do I put it on my phone?

I think you have to get it from the AppStore. I've never used it. We will have our own app in the new forum software.

It could be up to 8 weeks from now because it needs to be approved by Apple and Android.

That's fine with me, I'd rather not pay $3 for an app I'm only going to use for a few minutes.

Ok well I just went through the costs of this and it's looking like costing a couple hundred dollars more than I thought it would, so I think we're going to stick with tapatalk :/. There is a newer version than the one we use though, and it allows you to upload on the new forum software I believe.

Tapatalk works okay, but yes if we got out own app wouldn't it cost around $400?

If you ask me, Tapatalk is pure epicness, especially if you have several forums you visit frequently. However, it's a forum app. That said, you can only use the forum. Not view photo albums, see notifications etc. The chat is out of the question as well.
I use Tapatalk all the time, and complement it with a phone browser when I want to see the non-forum stuff. PM works with Tapatalk also.

You find the application in Android market or Apple market

Thank you Martin. Since an app is out of the question (hundreds of $$$ is not worth it!) I think I will do tapatalk. There are times when I'm camping and don't have wireless internet for my computer but would like to be able to post from my phone more easily than it is now.

I think you are both missunderstanding John. It will cost several hundreds of USD to develope the FF-application, not for ever person to buy it.

I understand that, I don't think that it is worth hundreds of dollars out of John's pocket.

Tapatalk uploads to the new software version - I know that for a certainty. However, it may only be the paid version of tapatalk.

Same for the iPhone. Not everything is accessible, but it is very convenient. I use it all of the time. I still think it is worth the couple dollars. It's very similar to using a mobile version of email. You can see posted pics and posts. And you can still upload pictures and URL sites.

I agree, that is a lot when the Internet site is great and tapatalk is available. I would save the money for something more important.
