A week!?! REALLY!?! I had some PCFs a few years ago and one got out and shriveled up in a couple hours... It was a really sad day. I just changed the setting of my new PCFs and didn't notice one hopped out. He's just a tiny baby(1.5cm), so my heart flew into my mouth. I found him in minutes though hopping behind my 10gal; you've never seen anyone move a 10gal faster I'm glad he's okay; that's amazing. I keep a heavy rock on top of my tank now, so no breaking loose from lifting the lid. He's a little daredevil; I just saw a spider almost as big as him yesterday...I would've hated for him to meet it during the night. Again, great save, he's a little brat for making you worry all week and then just sit on a table probably demanding food.

Glad you found Kisses. I have 4 gray tree frogs and one of them disappears often. Once I could not find him for more than one day and my heart jumped to my throat. Found him the next day though. (Just to be clear my frog is not leaving the tank just hiding really well)

I know a week is HARSH! I basically gave p on the fourth day after re-arranging my deck(: I am sososososososo happy that Kisses is back! He was weak when I found him, so I had to tweezer-feed him about 4 crickets to get him going, but luckily he is fine now(: He isn't getting back into the other tank until it hs a NICE SECURE LID!!!
    Thanks for the optimism everyone

so glad you found kisses again...i have had two escape....one sadly didnt make it... a really small american green out a vent hole..jaba was so small....he came to me in lettuce..i guess a hitch hiker and he was doing really well and one morning i couldnt find him and i ripped the tank apart...took the day off work and nothing....i was not hoping to ever find his little body but i did...but thanks to jaba (polish for frog) .....i opened my life to two large eyed tree frogs...when i was looking for jaba i looked at every post and article i could...

.. i learnt from that and when my large eyed boo ecaped a tank change. i remembered someone wrote to check in house plants...i have so many a small jungle and to check up high...the fern right above boo's tank was just watered and she was in the black dish soaking in the water...i also put the water dishes all over the place just in case...hope this helps if it happens again......
