Uh-oh...looks like you have some kind of flaw in your tank. D:

First I would find my frog, then take them both out (put them in a tightly lidded container) and search the tank up and down for a way that they could've escaped. Twice in a row can't be a coincidence.

But don't worry, you found him the first time I bet you'll find him again soon! I have faith.

And about my tank, just check out my thread periodically, I'm trying to update it every few days with new info.

There is NO opening at all!!!!!): I looked all around and kisses is no where in sight Guess I will wait til dark, since the humidity is high. Any ideas as to how he could have escaped? Is it possible for them to 'lift' the tank lid? Thanks for the encouragement and I will check your thread(: Definetly to help with new ideas

Is your lid a regular screen that just sits on top of your tank? How big are the frogs?

Well right now it is two rectangular lids with tissues stuffed into every crack making NO escape! I'm planning on building a new/better one The one that escaped is about the size of a match box maybe a little bigger, then the other one is 3.5 inches as of todayJUST measured him/her. I feel like Sprite is lonely without Kisses
They live on my outdoor screened-in porch by the way. Do you think that he could have survived the night? The temperatures are pretty humid, but..... Who knows?

Umm.. I don't have a pic, but I could take one(: And I hope so!!

Frogs can squish through pretty tiny cracks compared to how their body size. If they can push the lid up even a little bit to make a small gap, that could be it.

No chance the frog is hiding in the tank? Buried in the substrate?

No chance it managed to get out of the screened in porch?

You could leave a few water buckets around outside in the hopes that it returns for a soak.

Oh my gosh, when I read that I assumed we were talking about one of those big match boxes! If you mean the little one, your frog could be in danger or eaten already...D:

I don't think he is in the substrate because there would probably be a lump right?
He might be able to get out of the porch, but I wouldn't think he could travel really fast. Could he?? I have like five all around

The other frog was about 2.5 in, but that is just an estimate.

Wow he is quite the escape artist! Just do what you did last time and keep your hopes up!

so glad you found kisses again...i have had two escape....one sadly didnt make it... a really small american green out a vent hole..jaba was so small....he came to me in lettuce..i guess a hitch hiker and he was doing really well and one morning i couldnt find him and i ripped the tank apart...took the day off work and nothing....i was not hoping to ever find his little body but i did...but thanks to jaba (polish for frog) .....i opened my life to two large eyed tree frogs...when i was looking for jaba i looked at every post and article i could...

.. i learnt from that and when my large eyed boo ecaped a tank change. i remembered someone wrote to check in house plants...i have so many a small jungle and to check up high...the fern right above boo's tank was just watered and she was in the black dish soaking in the water...i also put the water dishes all over the place just in case...hope this helps if it happens again......
