Can't tell the gender of the frog just by looking at those photos I'm afraid. It's a lovely frog.

I think its a female i need to know before my breeding project thankss for the comment
A guess would be female just because it has very very small horns on the eyes. But thats a total guess. We would have to see more of the frog. Sometimes the females have defined throat spots, maybe less total throat color but seemingly more clear obvious sopts to the throat color. But Iv seen exceptions to this.
Ok thanks she has no spots no nupital pads yet so crossing my fingers its a female.![]()
i think its for sure a female its mouth is extended from its nose area wich is a sighn its a girl, looks really cool tho
Thanks my male will have him a mate so now i have two pairs one pair is cranweli and other is ornate
Healthy looking specimen! Looks like it's turning brownish?
Thanks
From what I read male Pacman Frogs have spots on their chest, does your frog have spots on his chest? Beautiful frog btw![]()
nice pac! I really couldn't say what sex it is at this age, cuz they don't get nuptial pads til they're half grown or so. By then, if its a female it should be the size a an adult male any way. I have to say, that is an unusual set up you have there. It seems very cheap, yet better than half of the expensive setups people have their pacs in. I would remove the moss while it is eating or until all the food is gone. If left in, the crickets and insects like to get on and in it and are then eaten along with more moss than cricket. This is a sure fire way to cause impaction. You don't have to remove the moss forever like most people will tell you. I is great for humidity and burrowing under, as long as there is no prey.![]()
I dont like to use tanks all my adults in 3 rack system it keeps humidity the frogs bieng the dark and plus take them outside seen we run the ac and seen i plan on breedeing i dont wont alot ten gallon hanging around i tong feed my frogs or like i do my male take him put him on dresses and let the superworms crawl around
pac (pac), Nobody knows what you are talking about. Are you keeping them in tubs and on shelves? I am guessing that they are living off of super worms because you haven't left a single post without mentioning them. Super worms do cause impaction!![]()
They are in shelves they do eat superworms and earthworms i dont buy crickets because they died so quick and they get mice and mealworms.mealworms beetles but mostly they eat worms and and shrimp but all my frogs are healthy i had bought her with 3 others and sold them to my petstore
I know we have messaged back & forth on YouTube, but here is a link to our Care Sheet, it has some photos to help with sexing the frogs and some basic info as well.
