    Default Force Feeding

Okay, I am at my wits end and think I have to resort to extreme measures.

My 8 year old Giant African Bullfrog, Gherkin, is not eating well. I put him in semi-hibernation over the winter because the house we are in was too cold. When I brought him out, he had obviously lost weight (as compared to my other two that were still fat and healthy) and since then, I have had numerous issues getting him to eat and gain weight. It has reached the point that I am considering force feeding, but I have never done this before and would prefer not to. I have changed his diet, put extra heat on and even changed his location in the new house. Nothing is working. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. And, if anyone has force fed a frog before, I might need that info as well.

    Thanks.
