I have found that lights are usually a bad thing when it comes to pacs. they are a bad all around heat source. they can damage your frogs eyes, and often over heat the tank. I have all my tanks set up with glass tops so they get plenty of light from the room. I use an under tank heat pad to keep the heat up. i don't know how wet your substrate is, but it needs to be quite wet.(not mud though) the glass top is a great way to regulate the temp and humidity. If its too hot, make the air space a little bigger. Just like cracking the windows in the car. hope I was helpfull, if not, you prolly read it wrong![]()
