Hi, I need to know if bamboo is alright to put in a Fire belly toad tank. I’ve showered it with stale water and let it sit out for a few days, but to be on the safe side I would still like to know what you guys say.
-Thanks!
It should be just fine. When I was researching plants for my tank, one of them listed for a frog tank was bamboo. I'm still thinking about adding some to my tank, but it's so darn expensive around here!
2.0.3 Hyla versicolor "Eastern Gray Tree Frogs"
2.2.0 Agalychnis callidryas "Red Eyed Tree Frogs"
0.0.3 Dendrobates auratus "Turquoise and Bronze"
0.0.1 Anaxyrus fowleri "Fowler's Toad"
I think it should be fine, they do well in watery environments so you wouldnt have the worry of it dieing off or rotting. And im sure the toads will love trying to climb it ... and sliding back down again
Cool, I shoud do that!
Yay, that's good I was worried that the bamboo I just bought would go to waste. But I'm glad I can use it. They try to climb on everything!!
If you live near a larger city with a chinatown area you can find bamboo really cheap.
