Default Dark brown spot/abrasionon on my RTF

Woke up this morning and my little RTF has got a dark brown spot on his back. Completely flat almost like a blister (looks like you can see a bit of the skin on top of it). Any ideas???? And what should I do about it? Gave him a warm soak and he still seems to be his old self, trying to jump away from me. I have two RTF in this tank and the other one has nothing on her at this point. Terri, I don't have an answer for you but hopefully someone esle might.
Is there anything he/she can get burned on? Has it changed at all since you initially found the mark?

Nothing he can get burned on because the moon light is on the outside of the tank. I have noted the size of the marking and will keep an eye on it - we only noticed it this morning. I will keep a real close eye on him and note any changes.

I have had areas on mine that stayed dark brown when the rest of the frog went totally green and a spot stayed brown. Hopefully it is only a similar thing.

Sorry, I have no clue as to what this may be.

My guess was a burn...but if you have nothing to burn him, that doesn't make any sense.

Try and see if it is because of old skin not shedding.
Take a q-tip, make it wet with Luke water and see if you can gently get it off.

If not, it might be a bacterial infection or something.
Best you can do then is taking a swab and send it to a good vet to see what this is.

    Good luck with her.

Here is the update on my little guy. Overnight one day the dark brown spot was a bit smaller and completely white. Went on holidays for the past week and came back and the spot is now blue (like the color under his legs). He is still behaving normally and I believe eating well. Will continue to keep an eye on it. Thanks for all your comments.
