The 2.5 is too small but please read the below thread for making an inexpensive, and easy home for your new frog.
Keep in mind that you need to ID him and read the applicable care sheet. He needs a proper home with the right temps and humidity, the correct substrate and the means to climb or dig or hide to reduce stress and thrive.

im at my dads today and when we were outside we found a little baby frog. hes only an inch big and he was on the street in a big parking lot so we picked him up and took him home. we got some rocks and a stick , cleaned them off and now hes in my old 1 gallon betta bowl until we go home tomorrow and put him into a terriarium. hes really only an inch big or smaller so would an 2.5 aquarium work? its completly empty and was thinking of keeping him in it until i coud get a bigger one. i have kept bullfrogs befor and have some experience with amphibian keeping. thanks
