This past weekend I bought what I was told was a peacock or big-eyed tree frog, but the more research I do, the less I think that is what it is. I've found some photos online for the Leptopelis christyi that look just like it, but I wanted to see if anyone else had ideas.
It's a juvenile Leptopelis flavomaculatus, yellow spotted treefrog. As it matures it will look similar to adult L. vermiculatus.
Thanks for the info! That's what I was leaning towards, but there were only a few pics like him that I could find and they would be labeled all sorts of various frogs.
You're welcome. I just looked in the field giude for Central and Southern Africa and found a picture that was identical.
