Lesley, your story sounds like mine... about a month ago, my son was excited to show me the 8 tadpoles he caught at Grandpa's house, and was even more excited by Grandpa's idea for us to take them home. At first I thought, "great, another live animal to worry about!" But as I have watched them grow and change, I have become really attached to them.Sadly, 3 tadpoles didn't make it, but the 4 that have turned into frogs seem to be doing well and we have high hopes for the last tadpole.
The original plan was to release them back where they came from once they were all frogs, but now I don't think I will be able to do it!
