I fed my tadpole algea wafers. They hold their shape for about two hours before they fall apart and they sink to the bottom of the tank. I just picked some up at Walmart.

Give it fish flakes and tubyfex worms and bloodworms and fish flakes ,keep the water at 78 and it will devalop faster and keep the water filtered and in a bout a month you will have a froglet enjoy.

I fed my tadpole algae wafers and flake fish food. She kept eating until her front legs came, and then stopped until her tail was completely absorbed. Then she was switched over to appropriate sized crickets, mealworms and earthworms. Best of luck!

Poe had quite the lag between her back legs developing and her front legs appearing. It seemed to take forever. Looking back and the advice I got and the experience itself, I now understand it better, but at the time, patience was NOT a virtue!! It's an amazing process to watch and I wish I appreciated it a bit more. Enjoy!

The wafers I had needed to be removed from the tank within two hours if the tadpole had not eaten it all. Also daily partial water changes may help to keep the water cleaner.
