I've just arrived from vacation in our families cabin, which is located in Van, Dalarna. It's a little south of the middle of Sweden. It's a 300 year old cabin, built and inherited in the family. It's located in the middle of nothing, just wilderness and our cabin. It's heaven on earth, my true paradise!
And that being said, it's possible to find some of the few reptiles and amphibeans that we actually have here!
1 semi-large vipera berus

1 very tiny vipera berus. I figured it's a somewhat newly hatched, since it was 20-25 at most, and very thin. Incredibly cute nevertheless.
2 juvenile anguis fragilis
10+ zootoca vivipara
10+ bufo bufo

10+ tadpoles (rana temporaria, I think)

2 rana temporaria. They still had some of their tail left, so they can't have been very old as frogs.
1 quite large, unidentified frog. Either a rana temporaria or a rana arvalis
We know that both natrix natrix and lissotriton vulgaris can be found, but this time we did not find any of them.
Of the last morning, something scary happend... Spider webs, EVERYWERE. I'm talking the whole forest, every single squaremeter were covered in spider web that were all produced during the night. If you look in the unfocused background in the pictures, you can see that there are alot of them. Pretty sure they're planing to kill us all.

Me and my little brother decided to build a car from whatever scrap we could find at our grandmothers place (who lives somewhat nearby). Turned out I'm an awesome carbuilder, and that my brother is an awesome pilot (yes, that is the word).

Yes, it truly is amazing. Really nice to just get away from everything and enjoy some wilderness. None of the ordinary daily comfort like fridge or electricity. Got home 2 days ago and I'm already counting down to next time we're going there. Even though it's frog -and reptileless, it's just as nice in the winter.
