I just came home from Springfield… staying with the relatives… who live in the woods. Well to my surprise… when we lifted the hot tub cover… Gray’s tree frogs everywhere. Some of them were green, some were yellow, and one brown one. They were under the BBQ Pit cover… on the windows… they were everywhere… well as we were saying goodbye… I nabbed 3 of them... a brown, green and yellow one… the funny thing was on our drive home I looked in the container that I had put a bit of water and piece of wood… all of them were brown. Well I got home read the care sheet and setup the tank. Well the first go round for there home. I large piece of driftwood that looks like a jungle-gym with limbs going every which way… Peat moss base… and a large water bowl. I dropped a few crickets in the cage… within moments one of the frogs ate 2 of them… and big ones… I don’t know how she did it (thinking it’s a she because the orange on the leg is very mute and on the other one it is bright and bold… the third one I have not seen the markings yet. All yesterday they hung out on the tree… this morning one was on the tree and one was at the base of the water bowl ½ dug into the peat moss… the third one I cant find… and the lid was down… so I think it might have burred itself… do they burry themselves? Any how these guys don’t mind being held… the bull frogs hate it… oh well… 5 frogs now… 2 bulls and 3 Gray’s… looking forward to building them a nice home with lots of toys and ropes to climb on. Thanks to you all... I know how to care, setup, and enjoy my new found pets. Oh one more thing… the hard part… need names… If I would have gotten 4… I could have used the names of the 4 musketeers…
