Sorry I havent been on but I had forgotten my username... but I have some exciteing news. When I had joined in October I was in search of another Grey Tree frog for Frodo... well by chance about a month ago cutting the lawn my husband found one in the grass!
We named it Sam which works for a male or female (calling Sam a female at the moment lol wishful thinking) and it just sounds awsome saying Frodo and Sam lol (big LOTR fan).
Sam is just a baby and still bright green like Frodo was when we found him before he turned grey on us. we currently have her/him in a large cricket ceeper because I fear Frodo will try and eat her.
How big does she have to grow till it is safe to put in with Frodo?
How many pin heads should I be feeding her atm shes getting 2 a night?
Pics to be added soon I hope
Shes an aggressive eater and very active and likes to try and escape![]()
I added an album to my profile with pics of sam but unsure how to put the pics here so ...

I saw the pics, Super adorable!! I have a little male gray tree frog that hasnt turned gray yet like my females, he apparently just likes being green. I would say to give Sam 2-3 pinheads a night, that's what I was doing when I first got my smallest one, and he grew pretty fast! I would make sure Sam is 50% of the size of Frodo before mixing them to avoid getting eaten. I know my gray tree frogs are very aggressive eaters and a froglet wouldn't stand a chance in with my big girls!!
