    Default Petstore visit 7/8/2011

    Was hoping to get a chance to photograph the sandfish skink that was out and about the last time I was there.

    Pictures are in order taken.



    The following 3 pictures are cropped from above above photo


































    lol finally got pictures of these guys. Before everytime I bring my camera along they either had the fog machine running or the frogs were in hiding.

    I love the green tree python. Gorgeous snakes. What kind of frog is the little yellow guy?

    It's some type of reed frog.

    wish i knew how to use my canon 60D like that, I have no idea about that much though

    Wow, that is obscenely expensive gear. The photos are incredible though.

    I shot in auto mode for four years after getting my first DSLR till I was recommended John Shaw's Closeups in Nature book.

    do you use a macro lense? because my camera won't let me take pictures that close up, my regular IS lense is a 18-135 and its horrible with closeups


    p.s. i saw some of those reed frogs today at my LFS
