    Default New To Frogs

I'm surprised to see these tank set ups. My previous experience with reptiles was Red Eared sliders and Fire Newts. These both were almost 100% water based homes. So i thought by rescuing this frog that I'd be alright with a water based tank with a dock. However, what I'm seeing here is that the basics of tanks is 90% land with a little water. If this is what I should create than I'll do it. My one concern is how do you keep the water clean and how do you clean the tank in general. This is new to me, however caring for ALL animals correctly and learning how to do it isn't new.

Good question. In fact I don't know what kind of frog it is. i think it looks very similar to the basic Leopard frogs. I'm in Northern China and it's hard to believe sometimes that I feel like I'm in Canada as most creatures are the same. I'll try and post my picture here or as my profile photo. I did post it in the introductions area I believe. This isn't an easy forum to navigate.

Okay.....I can't find any specifically name 'profile' area. But what I did find didn't allow for creating a thumbnail photo or anything. So, maybe I can have someone look in which ever other area I posted a photo to find out. As i said not easy to navigate this forum.

Oh really? Too bad. he's cute though huh? I realize how starving he was after feeding him meal worms for a few days and I couldn't see his hip bones any more. Poor baby.

I really hope someone could tell me what he is.

    Thanks for your time.
