Feeding your frog wc frogs is not a good idea. Freezing doesn't get rid of pesticides at all, and certain harmful bacteria/fungus/parasites could survive as well. Crickets go for about $1.00 for a little over a week's worth at most places, and pinky mice are less expensive than these frogs. And if they are born and bred in a petstore or pet supply company, which most are, that is just about as good a guarantee as you can find that they haven't come into contact with pesticides. Also, I'm guessing these frogs are shipped? Pinkies/crickets just seems like it'd be more cost-effective
My main concern with this is that people raid wild populations of frogs for feeders, which is a bad idea from an ecological standpoint.

Also, yes Justin, these frogs do eat hard-shelled bugs, other frogs, and a multitude of other things in the wild. They also have a much shorter life expectancy.
