Hello all,

I'm a long time aquarist (hence the name), with 20+ years experience in virtually every aquarium type. Upon a vacation to the Smokey Mountains, in the spring, I was turned on to the world of amphibians as I spent most of my time in the woods hunting salamanders. I did find several species as well as a few frogs. Since then I have acquired a paddle tail newt for my paludarium and just bought (impulse) 2 tiger salamanders at a reptile and amphibian show here in Indy last weekend. I am really interested in finding a few walking toads/bumble bee toads as they seem to be a good introduction to the frog world. From what I read they are quiet as well. That is a rule in my household, got to keep the misses happy. Otherwise I would hit up my cousin, who is a pretty big dart breeder, for some cool frogs.

I have been lurking around the site for a while researching terrarium set ups and looking forward to learning more from all of you.
