Well, I guess it's time for a rambling introduction. I'll try not to go on too long.
I'm a long-time herper (nearly 20 years), but I've only recently gotten into frogs, largely as a product of my doctoral thesis on the biomechanics and evolution of frog jumping, particularly the role of muscle-tendon systems. I've skeletonized several of my former pets and lab animals, hence my user name, including the Ceratophrys cornuta in my user icon.
My current menagerie consists of my elderly boa constrictor (my first herp, 18 years old), a ball python, a blue tegu, my wife's leopard gecko & bearded dragon, two leopard frogs, a Cagle's map turtle, a fantasy frog, a betta with 4 cory cats, and two greyhounds (one ours, one a foster dog).
Cheers,
SF
