    Default Frog eye geckos

Greetings guys got a unexpected new addition over the weekend. I found a credible reptile store and while their to buy some plants I had a talk with the owner and he talked me into picking up some frog eye geckos aka wonder geckos. Their care is pretty simple and they only get the size of a leopard gecko maybe even smaller. I got one male and one female hopefully I can get them to breed when the time is right their only babies right now.

What kind of housing do they typically need? Are they nocturnal? I don't need another pet, but it is hard when I'm so in love with these Petsmart had some crested geckos that I really like, but I like the frog eye's even better!

thanks guys they are active during the day and just as active at night.

LilyPad- their care is easy and they dont need much here are some facts

**The daytime temperature should be between 75-85 degrees. The Basking area should have a temperature from 85-100 degrees. At nighttime the temperature should be 70-75 degrees.

**Crickets and wax worms dusted with calcium, adults should be fed every other day, juveniles can be fed 2 times daily since they will be growing.

**they will also need a moist hide and a 5.0 uvb

10gal for babies and a 20 gal for adults only one male per setup best raised in male female pairs or two female and one male if your thinking of breeding

Crested are cool to here is a pic of mines i have two female flame crested

Thumbs up Re: Frog eye geckos

Beautiful geckos! Their patterns kinda look like snake scales.

Cute geckos! They look a bit like Leopard Geckos, at least to my untrained eye...like leopard geckos with snake-like scales

Very beautiful little animals - I think Geckos are stunning creatures. I've never seen frog eyes before. I love the last photo of the female, the way she's standing so tall on her legs!
