I feed my 3 gray tree frogs separately every other night to make sure they're each getting their fair share of food. Last night, Silvermist, who is nearly an adult, almost as big as my female Paddy, made a small chirping noise when I pulled her out of the tank to feed her. She has never made any noise before, and Leggy, my male, who is FAR smaller than silvermist, already chirps all the time. Could she be a male? Or did she chirp out of distress? I have read that the only time that the female gray tree frogs chirp is to get the male off them when they are done mating.

guess I should cruise through those.
It stuck in my mind because it was an interesting fact that I'd never thought to ask.
