    Default Constantly attempting to escape

My biggest gray tree frog, Paddy, who is housed alone at the moment in a 10 gallon tank, is frantically trying to escape today. I noticed her doing it this morning, and my mom called me just now to tell me she was jumping against the glass and the screen, then she'd stop and try a different route.

Any clue what is up? She's always been a very calm frog, eating good, using her water dish etc Humidity at 75%, usually maintains there. Temp is anywhere between 65 and 80, depending what is going on outside, a/c has been off so our indoor temp reflects the outdoor temp. I use a blue daylight bulb and have it on usually from 6 am to 6 pm. She has plenty of branches and live plants, although I did remove some of her live plants for the new viv. Maybe I should scoot her over to the new viv tonight.

I wondered if it could be from Leggy's calling, he's in a totally different part of the room, but I have no idea! I just think it's weird she's suddenly flipping out today.

Double check your temps, it may be getting too warm with no AC and the lighting.

I've been keeping a close eye on them, temps around here have been pretty cool. I do still need a digital thermometer for the tank though, I have a dial one yet.

Those dial thermometers can be dangerously inaccurate. Kill the lights and see if she mellows out.

Okay, will text my mom and have her turn it off for the day, I will check on her when I get home and see if she chilled. Next paycheck I will most definitely be buying a digital thermometer. I will hold off moving her to the new tank until I have one and can watch the temps/humidity for a few days.

The light was off when I got home and she was relaxed and sleeping, I'll continue to keep an eye on her, I should be able to order a digital thermometer this saturday.
