Hello Froggy Lovers:
Long time lurker, now member!![]()
I have owned frogs and toads all my life. My first frog was a wild caught Pacific Tree Frog in Central Oregon.
I have since owned several Oregon and California Tree Frogs, a Leopard Frog (not wild caught), a Yosmite Toad (now endangered) that I won at a frog jumping contest in Southern California many years ago, and two Northern Cal. Western Toads.
Today I have two Firebelly Toads. One - Bee O' Plenty - came from Reno Nevada.
I've had him for almost 20 years!
I also have two Whites Tree Frogs from Portland Or. that was given too me from my nephew a couple years ago.
And... for a short time, I once owned an American Toad from Kansas!

Welcome aboard.
Hi there and welcome to the forum. I hope we get to see some photo's of your frog family
.
Well...Unless you can copy the photos (they were taken with a 110 camera) and put them on the computer, it would be pretty hard for me to post any pics.
The only frogs and toads I have today are the two Firebelly Toads, and the two White's Tree Frogs.
The two Firebelly's are both male - Bee O' Plenty, and Fingerlink.
The two White's were already named when they were given too me.
The male's name is Kermit, and the female is named Tina.
As for all the other frogs and toads listed, they have since passed away. I do have their names listed on the 110 photos I took, so will post them when I find the old photo's.
I do remember these:
The female Yosmite Toad was called Little Vinny Brat. She travelled with my family from So. Cal. to Central Oregon several times, and lived with us for many years.
The two Western Toads were caught at a camp ground here in Northern Cal. in the 80's. The male was called Doo, and the female's name was Voo Doo. They were my sister's pets.
As for the the names of the many frogs I have owned:
The female Leopard Frog was called Wackie
The male Bullfrog was called Frogay
The Pacific Tree Frogs (which I have owned many) I'll have too look up their names.![]()
