Mold growth in pyxie tank, need help!!

Ive tried doing some research but haven't had much success. I found out that the white spongy mold growing is harmless to my frog and should complete a cycle and disappear, however the growth is outrageous. And isn't going away. With fresh spahgnum moss, and a disinfected tank, it takes less then two weeks and it looks like a layer of cotton on top of the moss. I have 2 questions 1. Is this mold dangerous for me to be around or my frog And 2. How can I safely remove the mold. I can't get rid of this white stuff for the life of me. 9 years ive had my frog and this is the first time ive ran into this problem. Oh and I have no wood or live plants in the tank btw.

Is it the humidity too high? I have only had my tank for about a month now, but occasionally it gets some mold. But it cycles through like it is supposed to. I don't have any moss though. I have ecoearth and live plants.

No the humidity isnt high. I used to have a water fall and fogger with over head dripper. I took every thing out. Plants and decor as well. This is me third time ive done a complete over haul. Should I try different substrate? I use spahgnum moss which I was told has a decent acidity and does not promote mold growth. But that could be wrong info.....

I set up my first terrarium a few days ago and am having the same problem. I can't imagine we are the first to have issues with sphagnum moss growing the white fuzzy mold on it. There is a lot of moisture in the tank but I believe there is more than enough ventilation. Has anyone had experience with erythromycin? Safe for amphibians? I have read about springtails quite a bit on this site, do they/ can they get out? I'm not trying to hijack the thread. I figured we are in the same war together.
