I was changing the water in the viv this evening; when my AGTF suddenly jumped out. I saw her and closed the screen and it hit her a little bit. She jumped around outside the tank for awhile until I finally caught her. I was about to lose her b/c she was trying to get out of my hand (she's my ornery one!) I was opening the screen when my other one thought that it looked like fun and was looking like she was going to jump out. I panicked and kind of tossed her in. Instead of landing on moss or plants, she lands on the two inches of non-soft space in there, the water dish, with a thud. She got right up, jumped on a plant and then on the glass. She looks fine and seems to be moving well. She's currently pouting on a leaf but I'm afraid I hurt her or gave her brain damage.
I feel bad. Anything I should watch for?
She should be fine. They fall from things all the time so it is probably not her first time landing on something hard.

I agree. In the wild they fall from trees. I had one fall on my car the other day when I was going down the road... when I saw him on the passenger window I slowed down and he clung on as I drove. I was going to stop and remove him from the window and put him in the woods. Then he jumped off while I was still moving. These little frogs are tough. I'm sure yours will be fine.![]()
Thanks! She seems fine this morning. Whenever I would go to the side of the tank she would turn around. Guess she is mad at me.

I agree with the other I think your frog is fine. My White's slams himself in the front glass several times a night while exploring his viv and he seems fine.![]()

In all the years I've had several frogs jump onto hard floors, 3-4 feet drops, only 1 ever had any lasting problem - a broken leg. They are robust creatures. Their front legs are designed as shock absorbers (there are plenty of papers on this), so 99 times out of 100 they have no problems.
