Default New to forum, introducing my African Bullfrog

Hello all, new to site, I figure what better way to introduce my frog then with a video of it munching down! its a female dwarf, 9years old. Video starts a little slow with crickets but scales up to night crawlers and a fat mouse. The name of my frog is Loyde (a male name). I named it when it was too young to determine sex and never changed it. Thanks for watching tell me what you think

She's a cute girl but she's definitely not a dwarf.

Well then, lol looks like my local exotic pet store pulled a fast one lol. What features mark it as a giant as apposed to a dwarf?

Female giants don't get past 5 inches so it could well be a giant. By the way, while I personally don't have strong feelings on the matter, many people have a hard time watching a frog eat a live mouse. You might want to warn folks before they watch the video.

I just hit the stop button real quick when I saw the mouse twitching. Video gaming gave me awesome reflexes. /flex

See the problem is, ever since I first got her, she refuses to eat anything unless its alive. She wouldn't even touch dead crickets in a vibrating dish. Once in a while I like to treat her to a rodent. I tried the frozen one's but to no avail. But only occasionally will I feed her a mouse, too much isnt healthy. I like to mix it up with gold fish, worms and crickets.

Yeah, a lot of frogs won't eat something unless its alive. My snake is more than happy to eat frozen rodents, but the frogs are not.
