The cubes are pretty squishy and soft, and frogs can digest things like mouse bones, so I'm thinking he won't get impacted. Lump is completely buried in his substrate, like he usually does after a big meal, so we'll see how it goes. I think I'm going to chop cricket food into little bitty bits before I stick it in his tank from now on.

That's probably a good idea, or just stick some fish food crunchies in there, the crickets will go after that too and that shouldn't hurt him.

Should be fine, my advice would be to monitor him/her closely and react accordingly. Good luck, hope the situation turns out alright.

He'll probably be fine. I'd just keep a close eye on him for awhile, but I don't think there's anything to worry about. Hm.. I've heard of people also using oatmeal flakes for the crickets.

Thats nothing! I had a my riding team over at my house for this big KTM Enduro event that I had going, and one idiot threw a big, still hot, chicken strip into my 7" female cranwelli pac's tank! Needles to say, she choked it down before I new what had happened. She was fat for a couple of weeks and didn't want to move til it passed.

I would have been really upset if someone did that to my frog.

Anyhow, he seems to be doing OK so far. He was calling a few hours ago, and has mostly unburied himself, so I'm just waiting for him to have orange poop.

The only thing I would suggest is not keeping live crickets in with the frog. For me part of the fun in keeping frogs is feeding and watching them eat
