Shout box is missing here!

Hey guys a shout box would be a real cool idea. It would be nice to talk to other members and shout out who ever is on the site .The forum is good for questions,but the shout box would be fun. The chat room is for members who like to chat with each other but a shout box would be a short cut to a chat room, where i can say hello to Amy for example and telling her a quick congrats on live mode,just like the live TV we have here.

I have considered it several times over the years and decided against it on all of those occasions. Simply put, it is something that can be very easily abused. I'll think about it again though.

I hate shout boxes, especially when the forum has a easily accessed chat room, private messaging system and the like. But that is just my two cents worth.

Most forums that I have been on, the shoutbox ends up causing problems and slowing things down.
