I wouldn't mind living in that myself. How much is rent?

I decided the top screen section just wasn't doing it for me. I also decided to add the Mist King nozzle in through the screen section.

I used screen frame purchased at Lowes (under 2 dollars) and the bought the corners (also under 2 dollars) and cut and built the follow addition.

I then trimmed the screen to fit the nozzle and tightened in the nozzle.
Added a stop valve on the incoming water line and then connected a "T" Connection to the output line on the Mist King pump.

Looks cleaner, except for the gray corners on the screen frame, but that is all they carried for color besides white.

Great job! Don you really did a good job walking through that. And the explanation of the door was good too. I will be making 8 doors for my 10gallon tanks im working on. If you decide to redo your screen/upper section please fill me in on how you did it. That's the only thing I'm lost on for mine lol. I dig the ledge and foam scaping as well. Really cool.

Oh and, are those the monkey pods BJ has to offer? I ordered a bunch of all of the other kinds and am curious about them.

They are the Monkey Pods from Black Jungle. Its hit or miss on them holding water but they do make nice hides and accents. The ones embedded in the foam hold water well since the foam seals them off.

Now for some of my thoughts on this viv.
I am probably going to order the AAAFrogs LED lighting for this viv, but I did come across locally a Saltwater Tank LED lighting system that would fit across two tanks if I did a sister tank to match. Price was sweet but not sure if the color spectrum would be best for a viv. We know the AAAFrogs one are.

Next I'm thinking about additional plants for this viv since its going to need some coverage and vines.
I'm looking at the following as options (Suggestions/Comments?):
    Neoregelia "Blushing Tiger
    Orthophytum saxicola
    Cryptanthus 'Cafe au lait'
    Korean Rock Fern
    Biophytum sp
    Adiantum caudatum - Trailing Maidenhair

    1.1.0 - Dendrobates tinctorius - Powder Blue

    Don,

I love the monkey pods they are great places for the frogs to hide in. Plus they are real interesting to people. They always ask what they are.

As for plants. I think creeping fig is a must. Its just about indestructible and will fill the back walls up nicely. Some of the other vines tend to get stringy. I think the leaves of the fig are just the right size for the viv's.
    1.2.0 Dendrobates tinctorius 'Azureus'
    1.1.0 Dendrobates Lamasi 'Orange'
    1.1.0 Dendrobates Ventrimaculatus 'Understory Line'
    0.3.0 Dendrobates leucomelas

    --------------------------------------------------
As always your mileage may vary!
I may or may not know what I'm talking about!

Hey Mike, I have a few cuttings in the viv, trying to get the roots to grab the wall.

    Love creeping fig.
