Hello citizens of Frogonia. I have recently procured a specimen from the sidewalk and am keeping it in my bathroom, but I don't what species it is, and subsequently what to feed it.
I read online the tap water can be toxic to frogs, so for the past few hours its been alone in the bathroom, with no water, in the dark, cause I don't want to burn its black eyes out.
I think I'm going to build a frog pond in my back yard, but that could take a while. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Could this be a red-spotted toad? And if it is, by the color, it would be a juvenile one.
Normal light will not burn it's eyes, so let their be light. I'm not an export on these, but make sure it has access to water. And crickets might be fed, too.
