    Froglets should have flightless fruit flies or pinhead crickets. You could always release them back there too if they are just dying. Are they out of the water? If not, then fish food or lettuce will work to feed them. If they are out of the water, you will have to get them the fruit flies or crickets.

    They still have tails but there is land for them and water with the bugs. What is the difference to non flying fruit flys and those who can fly? Coulden't i just take the wings of the fruit flys with wings? Theres NO way my mum would let me have crickets in the house or garden!

    Why don't you let them go then? Eventually they're going to need crickets or roaches as some sort of staple diet. I think it would be awfully hard to take the wings off of tiny bitty fruit flies without killing them, most frogs only want live food. While they are still in the water, fish food or lettuce will work to feed them. Do they have front and back legs yet?

    They have front and back legs and have been probably complettng the tail reabsorbition process last time i check they had small tails, I could feed them worms, snails (not sure how you get them to eat snails with the shell..) slugs i know a good way to capture flys but thats about it no crickets or roaches

    I went to my local pet store and bought some Water Fleas (Daphneia).
    I asked the woman at the counter some questions like;
    ~ Do you have anything i can feed froglets?
    ~ Why are mine dying?
    ~ When They are bigger what is the best food to give them?

    She replied;
    ~ Water Fleas are good (daphneia)
    ~ If you have land make it easy to accsess (have steps up to the main bit)
    ~ Crickets we have some for £1.50 a box
    So knowing they are my local pet shop (a 5 min walk) I took the advice and bought two bags of water fleas (Daphneia) for 35p each and thanked her and when i got home put them in and sorted out the rocks for easy access. I guess i will have to buy crickets when they are older. Thanks for the advice LilyPad
    Also i dont suppose you know if there are other people with the Common Eurpoe Brown Frog? I hoped there would be a section for them but couldent find one.
    Thanks again
