I have a few sections of the environment with mulch... when the "Big Guy" nabbed a few crickets on land last night he got mulch in his mouth... which he preceded to pick out with his foot. is mulch a bad cover for the ground... what would the bullfrogs like the best?
I would not recommend mulch due to the chance of impaction. Also i am guessing you don't know what kind of wood is in the mulch and that could be bad because some woods are toxic to amphibians. Some of that mulch could also be rough and have some sharp edges and you don't want your big guy to get hurt.
so is just soil the best... peat moss... grass which I am having problems keeping it going with the grow lights....
hmm i don't really know normally i would say coconut fibers but i think that they would have problems with it getting in the water. you could use river rocks.
