My baby whites has a really dark throat, it croaks a lot so I assume its a male. However most reciently I have noticed that his throat is bulging on the sides. Can anyone Tell me if this is normal? I am concerned about him. Thank you!
Could it just be its dewlap?

Then again, I don't know if whites have a dewlap. Let's see what the experts say.
Hmmm interesting I guess I can see how that would be. I'll keep an eye on it or post a photo at some point.
When I was reading about determining the sex of grays tree frogs, they said if you checked the frogs in the morning after they were calling at night, the vocal sack is generally looser and darker than in the female frogs. None of my frogs have called since I brought them home for me to check that out. Hope this helps!
