    Default New Amazon Milk Frogsq

Stopped by the Northern Berks reptile show on Saturday and picked up 2 Amazon Milk Frogs from the good people at Rainforest Junky's!

I also splurged on a new 18x18x24 terrarium, recommended UVB bulb, and multivitamin supplement. Needless to say It was an expensive weekend, but the frogs are so cool I couldn't justify putting them in one of the smaller terrariums I had laying around.

They didn't eat right away, but I had moved them from their sale containers into a temporary terrarium and then to my new zoo med viv within a few hours, so I'm sure they just need time to become acclimated. They also looked very well fed when I bought them so they may just not have been hungry.

    Here they are!

They're lovely! I love milk frogs. You're right, they are cool enough to require a large, awesome tank.

Thanks for the compliments! I was surprised how many people at the reptile expo stopped and asked about/complimented them. A few people mentioned how difficult they are to find, and I almost decided not to go to the expo because I really didn't need to spend the money, but I'm glad I did.

I have been late to work every day this week because I have been spending extra time in the morning making sure everything is just right in their terrarium before I leave for the day.
