Stopped by the Northern Berks reptile show on Saturday and picked up 2 Amazon Milk Frogs from the good people at Rainforest Junky's!
I also splurged on a new 18x18x24 terrarium, recommended UVB bulb, and multivitamin supplement. Needless to say It was an expensive weekend, but the frogs are so cool I couldn't justify putting them in one of the smaller terrariums I had laying around.
They didn't eat right away, but I had moved them from their sale containers into a temporary terrarium and then to my new zoo med viv within a few hours, so I'm sure they just need time to become acclimated. They also looked very well fed when I bought them so they may just not have been hungry.
Here they are!
They are beautiful!! Sometimes splurging is worth it! I think that's what I want my next frog to be
2.0.3 Hyla versicolor "Eastern Gray Tree Frogs"
2.2.0 Agalychnis callidryas "Red Eyed Tree Frogs"
0.0.3 Dendrobates auratus "Turquoise and Bronze"
0.0.1 Anaxyrus fowleri "Fowler's Toad"
They're lovely! I love milk frogs. You're right, they are cool enough to require a large, awesome tank.
Very nice frogs! Congrats on your new additions!
They are absolutely gorgeous. I love the Amazon Milk Frogs...they are so pretty, and yours are truly beautiful specimens. I would love to pick up some of those if my budget suddenly were to open up haha.

Thanks for the compliments! I was surprised how many people at the reptile expo stopped and asked about/complimented them. A few people mentioned how difficult they are to find, and I almost decided not to go to the expo because I really didn't need to spend the money, but I'm glad I did.
I have been late to work every day this week because I have been spending extra time in the morning making sure everything is just right in their terrarium before I leave for the day.
wow they are absolutely beautiful <3 well worth the money.
