The vendor said unlike most frogs these become more vibrate as they get bigger. Do you guys know if there is any truth to this? I hadn't even heard of these high reds or an apricot albino they had too.

There's some truth to that; I wouldn't say they get a whole lot brighter, but Ornates do usually at least keep their color, and some may actually get more vibrant as they grow. Either way, really nice frog, sweet pickup!
I know I am very excited. Wasn't expecting anything this nice. These guys only decided to come last minute. I wasn't even certain I'd find pacmans there. Only other pacman frogs there didn't look right, think the vendor got all the defected ones from a breeder or something..
That is a beautiful frog!! Congratulations! The colors on him almost make me want a pacman!
