Could I use tap water to fill my viv if the frogs won't be introduced for 2 weeks? Or should I still go buy 6 gallons of spring water?
I fill my frog's water bowl with tap water that has been sitting out for a bit, I don't see why that wouldn't be safe in your new viv.

I figured the same but was curious to ask what others thought. I won't be pouring it through the substrate either. I plan to add that tomorrow.
That depends on where you obtain your water from and what if any additives are added to it. If you have city water and they use Chlorine only then it will dissipate after a day or so. If they use Chloramines then you MUST use a neutralizer such as AquaSafe Water Conditioner as it will not dissipate.

Garrett, you can only use pure water taken from the virgin and untamed glaciers of the far North, blessed by the heavenly hands of aurora borealis. Anything else will kill your frogs.
Thank you eric, I will acsend from man with only a kayak and tennis racket slippers to obtain this. Lol jerk :
I guess I can fork up $6 to get spring water.

I use Flukers de-chlorinator w/aloe for my water treatment. I just use normal tap water then add one cap full for every ten gallons. The label says it gets rid of chlorine and chloramines and detoxifies many heavy metals such as copper, lead, and zinc. I think it cost around $6.00 US. I've had the same bottle for two months now and you cant even tell that I used any, takes very little to get the job done!
