    Default Mixing Tree Frogs?

Hello ~ I have a female Peacock Tree Frog. She's about 1 years old and I've had her for 4 months in a 20 gallon aquarium. I would like to get another frog, mainly for her company, and am having a hard time finding another Peacock Tree Frog. Do they like to be in pairs? Can I mix her with another type of Tree Frog? Does male or female matter?
    Thanks You! Gretchen

Hi Gretchen. Peacock tree frogs are wonderful, good catch!! As for mixing species, I would advise against it. Basically, from one tree frog to another, the enclosure requirements will be different. Furthermore, all frogs have a unique skin toxin which for other frogs is toxic, and will slowly poison them. Your best bet is to either get another big eyed tree frog or keep your frog alone.
