Well I gave timmy a spray with some distilled water and he came out of the coocnut house and the red is almost gone!
(Sorry about the poor focus, the glasss was a bit misty)
What I did was:
-I scrubbed and chlorine bleached all his big shale rocks and rinced the gravel inder the tap in a pail till it rinsed perfectly clear (as opposed to the usual aquarium syphon style of gravel cleaning)
-I threw away all the old base substrate (potting soil in stockings) and rplaces it with styrofoam and aquarium sponge
-cleaned the fake plants and his coconut house and glass with vinager
-then I rinsed rinsed evereything and gave him this stuff called "Stress coat" in his water that removed chlorine also has aloe vera in it to make his skin all youthful and pretty. And it did!
I will keep an eye on him tomorrow and see if he still needs a vet. What a remarkable change.
That's good news. I hope he lives forever.

He does look a little better.
Yeah I didn't gall the herp vet today; having trouble with pain management and had to get medical help for myself. We'll see how he is tomorrow.
Good luck with your medical and veternarian issues.
I am very sorry that Timmy is sick! I wish he and you luck on helping him feel better. He is very special to have lived so many years.
