Two feeding pictures are of him eating a f/t rat pup and the other is a unsalted freshwater jumbo shrimp. He has a varied diet of rat pups once a month or so, super worms, crickets, roaches ( I breed 5 species so hes a happy camper) and nightcrawlers.

Alex, congratz on choosing Nikon! Is the lens the Sigma 105 or the Nikon 105?

I got the Nikon 105. I managed to pick it up used for a pretty good price. Now all I need to get is the 60mm and the macro flash setup. I'm already feeling poor. Hahaha

No. I can't stand shrimp! I can't even stand the smell of them. Same goes for lobster, and I live in New England where they are plentiful.

Yeah, a lot of people in the southeast US love them. To me they have the texture of snot with the taste of peanuts and whatever seasonings they boil them in. It's very gross in my opinion.
