Iso tank

I got a 5 gallon tank today and want to use it when I clean Frogger's tank. I would also like to use it when I clean the hermit crabs tank. I can use coco fiber for both and just put the needed water and some climbing plants. But what I dont know is this, do they carry anything that would cross over one species to the other? I of course dont want to put them in there at the same time and I can always take one of my kids plastic tubs for the crabs if need be but I want to make everything as little stress as possible on both kinds of animal. If I cant us for both any advice on setting it up as a temp home for Frogger during house cleaning? He is a whites tree frog by the way.
